2. When are the intakes for studying in Australia?
The main intake is in February. Some Universities and Colleges offer some courses in July & November.
3. When can I start my admission procedure?
For February intake - we suggest you start the admission procedure in September.
For July intake - we suggest you begin the admission procedure in February & for November intake, in June.
4. What is the course duration for Bachelors?
It is usually 3 years.
5. What is the course duration for Masters?
The duration is usually 1.5 to 2 years.
6. Which documents do I need to submit for admission?
10th, 12th, Graduation (all years) & IELTS Marksheet. Biodata, SOP and 2 Recommendation Letters.
7. Do I need to submit true / attested copies?
Yes.
8. What are the entry requirements of the Australian institutions?
Students have to meet the academic as well as the English language requirements of the specific institutions that they choose. The institutions have a selection criteria set for different kinds of courses at different levels. Your qualification completed in the home country is taken into consideration.
9. What if a student does not meet the entry requirements?
There are bridging programs offered at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level a student can take up if a student does not qualify for a direct entry into the courses?
10. I have not given IELTS exam, can I apply for admission?
Yes. You can submit all other documents and start your admission procedure. You will be getting Conditional Admission Letter. You will however, be required to take the IELTS before you apply for visa.
11. I have scored less bands in IELTS than the University's requirement. Am I eligible to get admission?
Yes. You have an option of doing ELICOS (English Language) course in Australia.
12. Can I apply for Visa with Conditional Admission Letter?
No. You need to have Unconditional Admission Letter for Visa.
13. How can I get Unconditional Admission Letter?
You need to meet the conditions as written on your Conditional Offer Letter.
14. What is the minimum percentage required for getting admission for Bachelors?
50% or above.
15. What is the minimum percentage required for getting admission for Masters?
55% or above.
16. What will be cost of studying in Australia as an International student?
Australia is less expensive compared to other countries like UK or USA. The tuition fees depend on the course you choose and the institution or university you choose. Please refer to the Australia section on our website for more details on the average Tuition fees and Living expenses.

18. What are the work regulations while I am studying?
According to the rules international students can work 20 hrs per week while studying and full time during vacations.

26. What kind of medical care do I get in Australia?
Most of the universities provide medical facilities on campus. There are medical centers and hospitals throughout all cities and towns. Australia has a high standard of medical care with a government system that offers medical services to all people. The students Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) will help students pay for the medical care. OSHC is compulsory for all international students coming to Australia.
27. How do Australian institutions maintain quality?
The Australian Government ensures the quality of Australian institutions and courses in several ways.
Institutions must meet academic, financial, managerial and ethical standards to be accredited.
Courses offered to international students must be approved and listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
Qualifications offered to students must fit the Australian Qualifications Framework, which gives guidelines on the level of knowledge and skills a student must gain under each qualification. Guidelines are updated regularly to ensure qualifications are relevant to the national and international marketplace.
National agencies monitor teaching, learning, administration and research in institutions. Universities are audited every five years by the Australian University Quality Agency. Vocational education and training institutions are audited by the Australian National Training Authority.
